We invite you to take a look at what is happening behind the scenes during rehearsals for our next show.
Katelyn Spurgin, Stage Manager: “In our last two weeks before tech week, we are now running and working scenes and getting all of the specifics down; and putting in bits of business as things are refined. With most shows, there is a danger of things getting stale and staying the same, however, because this show incorporates so much improv, its stays pretty fresh everyday. The actors are really in the rhythms of their characters now, and each day they find something new to further develop them. It’s a really fun process as they find things that work and don’t work, and as little accidents become good ideas. It’s a bit like the deep breath before the plunge because we are just around the corner from tech week and everything has to come together for that.”
